Our afternoon stop at "Mikes" was extremely enjoyable. A successful US businessman, toured St.Croix eight years ago. He "never went home". He established a successful Bike Touring enterprise on the island and resides in a very nice house in the upland. He's a great person to share thoughts with. He saved us from a needless trip to Christiansted which would have been a 45 minute ride when half of the shops would have been closed on Sunday. We did little on this island, so I'm not giving it justice. For information on Mike's Bike Tours (which sounds very interesting) contact him at 340-772-2343. Also check out http://www.stcroixbike.com . You want to do this in advance for the 9:30 tour since the ship leaves at 4:00 pm. |
